1st Test

So this weekend along with other things I got a chance to test out my new Toy. And more importantly break it, and find the week spots. "So I can build it stronger, faster, and better" Ok well maybe not faster :) So I had taken it with me to J's house for the weekend. On Sunday night I took it out put it together and tested it. So after I put the final screws in to secure the PVC pipes to each other I had my lovely assistant secure me via my ankles, wrists, and neck to the device. After she secured the final lock on my wrist I looked up and saw her hiding a flogger behind her back :) Well nothing like testing in under real world conditions. It held together surprising well. Some things I have learned.

Necessary changes
• Need to reinforce the base where the arms and neck poles are. (only part that broke during testing)
• Need a way to restrain the thighs, to force them apart to make them more vulnerable (possibly a pair of leather thigh restraints and a short pole connecting both)
• Find a material to use that is strong but workable to replace the PVC Pipes
• Install Side Eye bolts in order to leather it to a table.

Optional Changes

• maybe install some sort of pads for the knees (removable of course)
• Look for way to hold the waist still
• Find new assistant (Jut kidding :)

Re: Waist restraint. You could consider an option piece at the waist level since you have a join there, if I remember correctly. If you used two different sizes of PVC (diameter wise) you could potentially make it adjustable with a cotter pin sort of locking mechanism to control the height. I suppose the kicker here would be topping it appropriately with a piece that can be both somewhat uncomfortable while not too peircing for the bones and organs at that level of your body...

Eh... I'm crafty like this so we can chat some time if you need someone to bounce ideas off of. I'm just too lazy to actually DO these things ;)

Yeah so I can't stop my brain now...

For the knees, another interesting idea may be to make "cages" with padding so that they are completely optional. As with my previous idea, you may be able to fashion them to attach to the nearest joint, again as an option, like the hip/waist restraint.

Come to think of it... that would help with the thigh restraint potential as well...

Now to stop my brain... seriously... lol

what about using wooden dowels.. 2 or 3 inch diam.
You could even put the dowels inside the PVC piping.. to reinforce it.
using knee pads (like pup wears for crawling around on the floor) as part of the "cages" Tara suggested.
